Life Shop Rules & Waiver
Life Shop Rules & Information:
There is really only one rule, and that one rule can be stated in one word…RESPECT!
RESPECT OTHERS! One of the best thoughts to live by in everything you do and everyone you interact with is to think more of others than yourself. Put yourself in the shoes of the person or people you are talking or interacting with and ask yourself if you would like to be treated or talked to the way you are treating or talking to them. If you do that, we won’t have any problems, and everyone will get along.
RESPECT THE LIFE SHOP BUILDING AND EVERYTHING IN IT! Be aware of the space around you and the fun there is to be had there. If we don’t take care of the space and all of the equipment there, we won’t be able to enjoy it anymore. When you become a member of Life Shop, this space becomes yours to share with the other staff and members here. Remember that, and treat it that way. Things do happen though, and things will get broken, and that’s ok. So, the policy is that if you break it, you fix it. We will facilitate in helping you fix things that break, but we expect you to be a part of taking care of the space and making sure things are working as they should so you and others can continue to use them.
RESPECT YOURSELF! If anyone is treating you in a way that you don’t agree with, or appreciate or you don’t feel respected by anyone there, please find a staff member, and let us know. We will help you handle the situation so that it doesn’t happen again and so that you always feel comfortable and excited to come to Life Shop and see everyone and everything there is here.
